In one of the white-sand beaches of Davao Oriental, a glamping resort opened in the summer of 2020 just in time for tourism to slowly gain momentum following the community quarantine. Camp Bernardino De Lavigan rests in the hilly terrain of Davao Oriental and right by the coast of Governor Generoso, which is a five-hour drive away from Davao City.

Camp Bernardino De Lavigan has two spots for glamping: South Camp, where the Deluxe (P4,500) and Standard Tents (P2,250) are located; and East Camp, where you can find the Family (P9,600) and Superior Tents (P11,600). The South Camp features huts that provide added shelter over individual three-meter diameter bell tents. The East Camp, on the other hand, boasts seven-meter diameter tents that are spacious enough to fit up to four double beds. Amenities on include native rugs, rechargable fans, double beds with comforter and pillows, power outlets, lounging chairs, and toiletries. All guests get their daily breakfast from the in-house Kusina ni Tiya Gloria.

The resort also has a diving shop with PADI-certified divers for when you want to explore the underwater world through snorkeling or freediving. Kayaks, stand up paddle board, and big boats are also available for rent. For winding down, Camp Bernardino De Laviga offers massage services at Lim-aw Spa and drinks at Payaw Bar.
