It’s no wonder why many keep coming back to the welcoming arms of the City of Pines. The beautiful and lush landscape can make you feel refreshed, the cool breeze will make you want to stay for weeks, and a good old cup of strawberry taho makes for a satisfying sweet treat that’s quite incomparable. We can go on and on about why a visit to Baguio is always worth it—even if traffic gets worse by the minute, but just recently, we’ve discovered another charming reason why hours on the road just to reach the Summer Capital can be extra rewarding.

The Kamiseta Hotel, a 1,500sqm, multi-level property in Barangay Lualhati, is now open and ready to accommodate guests. With a scenic view of the city and towering pine trees, it’s the perfect escape for those who want to get away from the fast-paced city life and enjoy some downtime in a plush and well-thought-out suite. To give you a peek into the stunning property and get you excited about booking a stay, here are details that stood out in the place—we’re sure you’ll find these lovely too:

1. The quaint yet striking facade

A trendsetter in the Philippine fashion industry, Kamiseta has always been known for its cool, casual, and classic style with a quirky twist. If you're familiar with the brand's stores all over the Metro, you'll see that the same look can be seen in the hotel.

With lush greenery all around, the property in white stands out, as well as the intriguing blue door with the famous Kamiseta logo.

2. The breathtaking lobby

The team behind the hotel wanted to give guests a unique experience and to be able to do that, they made sure to complete it with lovely pieces of furniture and a French-inspired theme.

While the lobby showcases a multitude of prints and accent pieces, one can still appreciate the cohesiveness of the space with white walls serving as the perfect canvas. Most of the furniture also have gold outlines to tie everything together.

Who wouldn't feel comfortable in this nook? We especially loved the floral detail on the walls—it complements the upholstery of the furniture. Since it's executed in squares, it doesn't look overwhelming.

3. The sleek and streamlined Petra Suite

From the soft furnishings to the details on the wall and ceiling, this suite showcases a cohesive look. Working with shades of gray and black as accent color keep the look sophisticated and regal.

The headboard helps make the suite look extra spacious, while the gold details and vintage cabinet add to the vintage feel.

At the foot of the bed is an accent chair sporting the same pattern and design seen on the curtains, pillows, and walls. Look closely at the table—the legs showcase the Kamiseta logo, too.

*The Petra Suite rate starts at P8,000.

4. The lovely Cristina Suite

Planning a quick getaway with girl friends? Book the Cristina Suite and feel like queens! Dainty patterns on the walls, headboard, and upholstery complete the Shabby chic-inspired theme with an elegant chandelier as a fitting accent decor.

*The Cristina Suite rate starts at P8,000.

5. The charming Alicia Superior Room

Want to stay in a room with a view of the outdoors? The Alicia room balances sweet details and light colors to create a room where you can feel right at home.

A tufted wall that doubles as the headboard makes this room extra special as well as the print on the floor that loyal Kamiseta followers can easily spot.

*The Alicia room rate starts at P4,000.

6. The bold and quirky Katie Room

Who would have thought that orange, purple, and different prints can make a room look cozy and inviting? Since Kamiseta is known for its chic clothes complemented by beautiful prints, they made sure that the hotel has the same aesthetic.

This room combines orange, florals, lavender, and a variety of prints as seen on the pillows. It doesn't look busy at all given the light colors on the ceiling and the tufted wall on the side of the bed.

7. The exclusive hotel veranda

Hotel guests can enjoy the luxury of this well-maintained and inviting veranda, too! If you want to feel the breeze and take in the surroundings, grab a book and spend a few precious hours in this outdoor escape. You can also have an intimate meal with a loved one in the veranda—with pine trees and greenery as a fitting background.

8. The Instagram-worthy interiors of Vanilla Cafe

If you love Vanilla Cupcake Bakery, then you'll fall in love ten times over with Vanilla Cafe. Mismatched chairs, colorful decor, and interesting lighting fixtures complete the casual ambiance. Aside from taking photos of the place, don't forget to order cupcakes and refreshments to satisfy your sweet tooth as well.

Choosing light colors on the walls and maximizing natural light make the prints stand out and maintain a balanced look.

This corner is perfect for a group shot with friends, don't you agree?

Can't get enough of Baguio's cool weather and landscape? Take your treats outside and enjoy the view—Vanilla Cafe's al-fresco dining area is perfect for you.
