Anne Curtis's Brand New BLK Cosmetics HQ Can Be Your Design Peg
Splashes of pink and pretty pieces of furniture complete the space
When Anne Curtis-Smith launched BLK Cosmetics last year, many instantly fell in love with the promise of uncomplicated beauty that it offers and delivers. The products are affordable and guaranteed to make primping each morning a breeze. While Anne and her partners are busy developing new products for everyone to enjoy (they recently launched a K-Beauty collection!), it seems that they still have time to spare to prep the headquarters where all the magic happens.
In an Instagram post, Anne shared that they will soon unveil the BLK HQ—the official home of the makeup line. To bring the HQ to life Anne and her partner, businesswoman Jacqe Yuengtian-Gutierrez, collaborated with Crate & Barrel, Heim Interiors, and interior designer Cheska Nolasco. Here’s what we know so far about the stunning HQ, based on the posts and stories uploaded by the teams involved:
Talk about making a statement upon entrance! The brand’s famous logo is set against marble tiles, instantly creating a posh, elegant vibe. Of course, what better way to define the space than with a front door reminiscent of a vanity mirror with lights.
A sitting area looks cozy, with a gray plush sofa, fluffy pillows, and a center table decorated with magazines, plants, and blooms. The setup somehow makes you feel like you’re ready to get pampered.
Behind the sofa, tiles in black and white showcase the patterns in similar colors seen in BLK’s packaging. LED lights spelling out “Hello gorgeous” complete the look and give the space an edgy boost.
Far from the sitting area’s psychedelic appeal, an area that looks like a meeting room is decorated with touches of wood, white tiles, and pretty lighting pieces. An accent wall showcases wood in a natural finish, complementing the long wooden table in the middle.
From another angle, we can see that colorful chairs surround the table. A marble-top console table with sleek legs and storage underneath is set against the wooden accent wall. The setup resembles a vanity corner we often see in homes.
Wherever we are, keeping our inspirations close is a must. The BLK HQ has its own inspoboard where different photographs are on display using mini clips. Using a welded wire mesh is a good way of showcasing photos while making use of vertical space.
Take your cue from this corner by painting it in the same color as your wall for a seamless look. Can you spot Erwan Heussaff?
One of our favorites in this space is the BLK bookcase holding the brands different products. We want our own personalized shelf, stat!
This nook is chic and inviting with the play of colors completing the look. From the curtains and rug to the accent chair and sofa, it’s a nook that’s perfect for relaxing and taking a break. We can’t help but notice how the subtle touches of pink come together to create a stylish area that’s still comfy and inviting.
According to Heim Interiors’ post, the About A Lounge Chair in pink is by Hay and can be purchased at Design Story.
Another pretty shelf holds more dainty accessories and beautifully arranged BLK products.
We definitely can’t wait to see the entire office soon!
