Learn more about the warm and rich shade that can make your home even more interesting
It’s finally out! The color experts at Pantone have chosen the color of 2015: Marsala! Marsala is a rich reddish brown color with a vintage and earthy appeal.
“It has an organic and sophisticated air,” shares Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute, Pantone’s color advisory group, in a discussion with the Wall Street Journal.
The Pantone site has this to say about 2015’s “it” color:
“Nurturing and fulfilling, Marsala is a natural fit for the kitchen and dining room – making it ideal for tabletop, small appliances and linens throughout the home.”
What do you think about the chosen color? We’re definitely excited about Marsala-hued pillows, area rugs, and other home must-haves!
