Set up a potting depot.

Find an old, outdoor table and set up a proper potting depot on it. Stash your pots, gardening tools (you may hang them on the wall behind the table), watering cans, and fertilizers here, and use the surface as a comfortable potting station. Remember to situate it near a water source.

Locate your dirty station.

Contain the dirt when transplanting saplings. Use a tray and make that your dirty station. Make sure that you work on a tray that’s big enough to accommodate your repotting and planting tasks.

Put up a soil and gravel station.

Assign a corner on your potting table as your soil and gravel station. Place a few jars and canisters of soil, sand, and gravel. Label them well and you may add quirky details like wooden toys as well.

Organize your storage station.

Store your bags of potting material, pots and planters, and miscellaneous garden tools inside crates. Put them below your potting table or anywhere accessible. Seedlings ready for repotting can be housed in one of the crates as well. Identical boxes provide a sense of uniformity as they significantly reduce visual clutter.
