Throw a relaxed but classy Yuletide party for your friends in your own backyard
December is a month filled with reunions and get-togethers. Does the list of engagements include a dinner with your childhood or college barkada? If yours is a little group of four or five mommies, it would be interesting to hold a festive afternoon party instead—with the kids! It’ll be a perfect time to catch up with your inaanaks and establish friendship among the little ones.
Here are a few tips to make the gathering even more memorable:
- Find out the ages of the kids expected to join the party to help you decide on the food to serve and games to prepare.
- Choose an outdoor venue, preferably a playground, to give kids the space to run around and play games. It would be better if the playground has a covered gazebo or a function room nearby in case of rain.
- Remind your guests to dress up in pretty yet comfortable frocks as they are expected to join in the fun and let loose.
