South Folks, There's a New P2P Route to Makati
Traveling to the city has just become more convenient
The Metro Manila commute is one of the struggles of every urban dweller. It gets worse during rush hour, and more so when you have the dreaded combo: Rainy Friday payday. But with the new routes that the point-to-point bus services keep adding, traveling to and from far-away cities is now more convenient. RRCG Transport, one of the biggest operators of point-to-point (P2P) buses in the Metro, just launched a new service from Alabang Town Center in Muntinlupa City to Century City Mall in Makati City. Trips, with a one-way fare of P100, are available from Monday to Friday.
The location of Century City Mall in Poblacion, Makati, makes it a good drop-off point for those coming from the south of the Metro. It's just a jeepney ride away from Santa Ana and Sta. Mesa in Manila, just a bridge (or banca) away from Mandaluyong, and just a few steps away from Makati's Central Business District. The P2P route also has a special drop-off point at Circuit Makati (formerly the Sta. Ana Race Track).
The service starts on November 5 with departure times at 6 a.m. for Alabang Town Center and 6 p.m. for Century City Mall.
Starting on November 6, the departure time is at 7 a.m. for Alang Town Center and 6 p.m. for Century City Mall. There are special drop-off points at Greenbelt 1 and Circuit Makati.
