Makati's Festival of Lights 2017 Is Simply Spectacular

The Festival of Lights has become Makati City's signature Christmas tradition as Ayala Triangle Gardens transforms into a magical paradise. The much-awaited display opened last November 9, and features three 20-watt animation lasers and giant haze machines for a full-on spectacular experience.
Every year, thousands of families flock to Ayala Triangle Gardens for this light show, and this year won't disappoint, as 1.6 million LED lights will dazzle you while three different musical medleys are played.Â
Aside from the lights at Ayala Triangle Gardens, the entire length of Ayala Avenue is also adorned with huge displays of Christmas symbols like gift-wrapped boxes, Christmas balls, and parol. These are all made of LED lights and inspired by traditional weave patterns like inabel from Luzon, tikog from Visayas, and T'boli ukil from Mindanao.
The Festival of Lights show runs every 30 minutes from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Ayala Triangle Gardens, Makati Avenue corner Ayala Avenue, Makati City. For updates, follow Make it Makati on Facebook.
