If you’re a big supporter of local, handmade goods, you’re probably already familiar with Common Room, a shop where makers and artists gather and share their handcrafted goods. This time, the lifestyle store has partnered with the Department of Trade and Industry's Go Lokal to curate a special collection of Philippine souvenirs. The Common Room for Go Lokal Souvenir Collectionfeatures 16 designers and their take on everything they love about the Philippines.

“We’re excited to partner with DTI Asec. Rosvi Gaetos and Go Lokal for this project. There is so much amazing talent among the Common Room makers, headed by shop owners Roma and Maan Agsalud,” says designer Alessa Lanot of Life After Breakfast, who created accessories out of a pattern made with handpainted Philippine flowers. “This new souvenir line allows us designers to share the funny, happy, and beautiful things that we love about our country—not just to foreigners but to fellow Filipinos, as well.”
