Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar Opens in Quezon City

Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar in Bataan is known for transporting hotel guests to the 18th century with its collection of Spanish colonial-era houses, relocated from various provinces in the Philippines. Now, the Acuzar family is bringing their flair for restoring heritage homes to Metro Manila—in the form of the new Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar in Quezon City.

Inside, you can feast your eyes on the elegant staircase with iron balusters, an opulently decorated ceiling, and a whimsical display of antique plates collected from Mrs. Juico's travels all over the world.

The events space will soon also boast a restaurant and boutique hotel, and is housed in an Art Deco-style mansion once owned by Felipe Sangil Juico, who established the first travel agency in the country. Casa Juico was designed by National Artist for Architecture Pablo S. Antonio Sr., who was also behind the construction of the Ideal Theater in Manila, the White Cross Orphanage in San Juan, Manila Polo Club in Makati City, and several buildings at the Far Eastern University in Manila. 

Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar in Quezon City is now open for reservations, while the hotel is slated to open in 2019. By the looks of it, we're pretty sure that it'll be as stunning as the beautifully restored mansion.
