One wouldn't think that this space used to serve as a storage space and doghouse, too

When the owners acquired the property, they expected a lot of friends to stay overnight. To accommodate guests, they decided to convert the space connected to the garage into a guest house. It was furnished like a small studio apartment—complete with kitchenette, bathroom, living area, and bedroom. To keep the space open and to make it feel less cramped, they've decided to do away with the walls.
