In Photos: Meghan Markle’s Former Toronto Home

We have just seen Prince Harry and Meghan Markle walk down the aisle this weekend, and we know that they will be residing in cozy Nottingham Cottage in Kensington Palace.
The Duchess of Sussex would probably put her sophisticated-but-comfy decorating style stamp on “Nott-Cott,” but we’d like to revisit her former home in Toronto (above), where the then-actress lived while filming the TV show Suits.
This two-story, three-bedroom Seaton Village home was most noteworthy for having welcomed Prince Harry when the couple started dating. According to Home Beautiful, it was here where Meghan created a stylish home with her two dogs, and that the community was very supportive of respecting the Royal couple’s privacy.
It was reported in this article that Freeman Real Estate Ltd. put up the property for sale for $1.39 million, but it was eventually sold for $1.6 million early this year to an unidentified buyer—much more than its original asking price.
Prior to being sold, the famous house was redecorated with modern-contemporary furniture in a subtle color palette of beiges, grays, and creams, as seen in these photos.
Seaton Village is “home to a diverse population of residents and considered a favourite among young urban families, art-loving professionals, writers, as well as architects,” as described in Freeman Realty’s website.
