Get Free Entrance to the Philippines' Biggest Book Fair
It's happening this week!
For book-lovers, writers, and readers, the annual Manila International Book Fair is a good excuse to hoard loads of books which will probably take a year (or so) to finish. And if you're like us, who go crazy during book sales, expect that you'll max out your credit card or use up a chunk of your savings this coming September 12 to 16 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City. So it's a huge help if you can minimize your expenses during the five-day event—e.g. free entrance tickets!
Entrance to the Manila International Book Fair is at P35. PWDs, students, and senior citizens get a discounted price of P20 while teachers can enter for free. But if you want to save P35, all you have to do is download tickets made available online by local publishers and sellers and print your own copy before you go all the way to SM Mall of Asia. Summit Books, Anvil Publishing, UST Publishing House, Philippine Christian Book Store, Kerygma Books, Affordabook, and National Book Store have got your back!
Additional pro tip: Bring a water tumbler and a snack from home so you don't have to use up precious browsing time lining up at the food booths! Just leave them at the package counter.
The Manila International Book Fair is from September 12 to 16 at the SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City.
