We all need a break every now and then. While many love visiting other countries, there are those who prefer to spend some quiet time by the beach. A few of our favorite celebrities share the same passion—not only do they retreat to the nearest resort to unwind, they even own resorts and beachside properties.

Enrique Gil bought his five-storey beach house in Anilao, Batangas, sometime in 2016.

Ryan Agoncillo and Judy Ann Santos regularly bring their kids Yohan, Lucho, and Luna to their rest house in Batangas. The couple call it "bakawan." It also has a swimming pool.

Carmina Villarroel and Zoren Legaspi also have a beach property in Nasugbu, Batangas, which was the venue for their twin kids' pool party when they turned 16 in January 2017.

Christopher de Leon and wife Sandy Andolong own a beach house in Lobo, Batangas which is frequented by Janine Gutierrez, the actor's granddaughter with Nora Aunor.

Sam Pinto owns L'Sirene Boutique Resort in Baler, Aurora, a famous spot for surfers.

Katrina Halili's dive resort in Corong-Corong, El Nido, Palawan, is called Pa-lao-yu, which means "land of the beautiful harbor" in Chinese.

Former actor Robin Da Roza and his wife Maffy Soler co-manage Soler Sea Seaside Resort Balayan.

Jinkee Pacquiao's "happy place" is a piece of paradise in Glan, Saranggani. It was where she held her 40th birthday last January 12.

Jinkee and her husband, Senator Manny Pacquiao, also have beach properties in General Santos City and Boracay.

Derek Ramsay's family owns an island in San Vicente, Palawan—where a glass house stands, and has breathtaking views of the sea, the sun, and the stars.

In 2007, Iza Calzado announced that she has investments in The Tides Hotel Boracay, where Tim Yap is also a part-owner.

The family of cager Chris Tiu owns Discovery Shores Boracay.

The husband of Dawn Zulueta owns the Pearl Farm Beach Resort on Davao Del Norte's Samal Island.

A few hundred meters away from the resort is the Malipano Island, where seven private villas were built for the use of the family.
