It seems the two are aware of Pinoy building superstitions, too

2018 is ending with a bang for TV host Bianca Gonzalez, basketball superstar JC Intal, and their little family. Aside from celebrating their firstborn Lucia’s 3rd birthday, they just welcomed the newest addition to their family—baby Carmen Eliana Gonzalez Intal. Around September, Bianca and JC also announced on Instagram that they’re building a new home for the family.

According to Bianca’s caption on Instagram, JC had built their first home before they got married and all she had to do was move in. The couple’s close friends, Doug and Chesca Kramer, who are also building a new home, left good wishes on their posts.

While Bianca and JC have yet to reveal details about the home under construction, a quick review of the comments section offers clues that it’s located somewhere in the South. Just last week, Bianca, JC, and Lucia, together with Bianca’s Mommy Ofel, visited the site of the home to mark the building of its foundation.

The two followed a known Pinoy building superstition of burying coins within the home’s foundation. According to our article about building superstitions, burying coins “ensures that the family will always have wealth.”

On her Instagram stories, Bianca shared that the second home is an opportunity to correct the mistakes from building their first home.

We can’t help but wonder how the Intals’ second home would look like. Based on the photos they share on social media, it’s safe to say their current home has a contemporary aesthetic. Whatever the style, we’re sure that it will reflect the owners’ personalities and that Lucia and Carmen will have a play room, as well!

Congratulations, Bianca and JC!
