RL News: Philippines International Furniture Show 2015

Local furniture designers showcase excellent craftsmanship at yearly event

The Philippines International Furniture Show (PIFS) is a yearly event held at the SMX Convention Center, Manila that showcases our local furniture designers’ exquisite craftsmanship and impeccable designs.

The works of our local designers are said to be at the forefront of global lifestyle design given their unique design aesthetics and innovative style. International trade buyers from different countries such as the United States of America, Japan, Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, China, Germany, Turkey, and India are set to source Filipino products for different foreign projects.

The highlight of this year’s show is the presence of Mary McDonald and Nathan Turner of the hit TV show, “Million Dollar Decorators.” The two Hollywood interior designers will choose their favorite items from the exhibition and talk about the latest trends at the exhibition.

About Philippines International Furniture Show

The Philippines International Furniture Show was launched last year by the Cebu Furniture Industries Foundation, Inc., Chamber of Furniture Industries of the Philippines, and Pampanga Furniture Industries Foundation, Inc.

The success of the first event drew attention to both the international and local trade markets. “The Philippines International Furniture Show is our opportunity to show the world, how we interpret world trends and take the lead in design innovation, " event chairman Christina Gaston shares.
