10 Filipino Exhibitors Were Recently Featured in This Online ASEAN Show

Filipino design is something to be proud of. From traditional weaves to contemporary woodwork, it has continuously made waves on the world stage, and will definitely continue to do so even as everything goes online during the pandemic.

In the ASEAN International Furniture & Furnishings Show VX 2021 (AIFFS VX) led by the Chamber of Furniture Industries of the Philippines (CFIP), local brands were brought in by the Center of International Trade Expositions and Missions (CITEM) on a fully-digital platform. Ten exhibitors were featured from March 13 to 18, which included Acento Colleccions, E. Murio, Enpekei International, Goltrio, Junk Not, La Galuche, Mejore, Obra Cebuana, Prizmic & Brill, and Stonesets International.

“A keen emphasis on technique, particularly material manipulation, and design sensibilities rooted in our proud heritage” were showcased during the AIFFS, CITEM Executive Director Pauline Suaco-Juan said.

The featured exhibitors were all from FAME+, the online iteration of Manila FAME. From its yearly exhibitions, the platform now gives you 24/7 access to quality Filipino brands and the stories behind their designers and artisans.
