Kids Can Enter Ayala Museum For Free This Weekend

Giving gifts and money to godchildren has been a long-standing tradition among Filipinos. It has reached a point where the aguinaldo seems to be an annual requirement for ninongs and ninangs. This year, why not share the holiday spirit in a different way by taking the kids on a knowledge-filled adventure: A date at the Ayala Museum in Makati City. Admission is free on Sunday, December 30, for your 12-year-old-and-under inaanaks.

They'll definitely have a fun time learning about history through the newly launched virtual reality diorama exhibit. Imagine getting to see the Cry of Pugadlawin, the execution of Jose Rizal, and the declaration of Philippine independence in 3D.

Also on display is a retrospective of the works of Gus Albor, a painter and sculptor known for his abstract designs. Works by Francisco V. Coching, a legend in the komiks industry, are also on exhibit at the Ayala Museum.

The Ayala Museum is at Makati Avenue corner De La Rosa Street, Greenbelt Park, Makati City. Admission is free for kids 12 years old and below on December 30. It is closed on December 31 and January 1. For more information, visit Ayala Museum's website.
