Anne Curtis’s Breakfast At Tiffany’s Bridal Shower Is So Dreamy
Check out these photos of the beautiful setups at the bridal shower of the Kapamilya actress. All in Tiffany blue, of course!
Although Kapamilya actress Anne Curtis has not revealed the details about her upcoming wedding with star chef Erwan Heussaff, friends have been hosting bridal showers for her, with a Hollywood-themed bash in LA a few weeks back.
Her latest bridal shower last November 2 was also Hollywood-themed, but in a Golden-Years-Of-Hollywood sort of way. It was a Breakfast At Tiffany’s bridal shower by Tiffany & Co. (of course!) and luxury retailer Rustan’s. Breakfast At Tiffany’s is the iconic, 1961 film of the late actress and fashion idol Audrey Hepburn.
We couldn’t help but notice all the lovely, Tiffany blue details at the party. Here’s a peek:
This wall of Tiffany boxes
According to the Tiffany & Co. website, the color “Tiffany blue”—which is actually a variation of robin’s egg blue, a soft turquoise-aqua color—was selected in 1845 by famous New York jeweler Charles Lewis Tiffany for the cover of the Blue Book, his annual collection of jewelry. The distinctive blue hue was then exclusively used for Tiffany’s iconic blue box for their jewelry pieces (including engagement rings).
A Tiffany blue choux cake
This spectacular Anne Choux tower cake is drizzled in Tiffany blue icing as well. Choux pastry is another name for profiteroles, or cream puffs.
The delicious cocktail and dessert spread
According to this article by Pep.ph, the actress called her bridal shower “merienda at Tiffany’s.”
Lovely bouquets to take home
Anne’s sister Jasmine Curtis hosted the shower, and close friends Karylle, Antoinette Taus, and Nicole Andersson all joined in the festivities. They also got to take home these beautiful white “bridal bouquets” from Rustan’s.
Beautiful Tiffany vignettes
Celebrity blogger Nicole Andersson pitched in by styling the beautiful vignettes, which included the famous boxes, the equally iconic Tiffany’s silver pieces, bridal blooms, and an engagement ring.
