All The Dreamy Details of Billy Crawford and Coleen Garcia’s Beach Wedding
Luxe elements, fresh blooms, and ornate details complete an idyllic setting for the couple's big day
It seems that celebs favor destination weddings nowadays. After Anne Curtis and Erwan Heussaff’s New Zealand-affair and Maxene Magalona and Rob Mananquil’s beachside union, Billy Crawford and Coleen Garcia chose the beautiful island of Balesin as the venue for their much talked-about exchange of I Dos. Before the island sojourn, a nautical-inspired despedida de soltera was held for Coleen, a taste of all the planning and teamwork that went into the momentous occasion.
From the all-white welcome party the previous day, refreshing colors of aqua, teal, and coral took center stage for the big day. La Belle Fete, the wedding planner in charge of the whole affair, once again collaborated with ace event designer Gideon Hermosa in making sure that the ceremony and reception were picture-perfect. How did the two venues look just in time for the vows and the party? To say that we’re impressed is an understatement. The details are luxe and dreamy, like you’re experiencing spring in summer. Check out the breathtaking snapshots below:
For the wedding ceremony, an outdoor venue with a view of the sunny sky and the beach was transformed into a lovely setting reminiscent of spring.
In a short clip he shared on Instagram, event designer Gideon Hermosa walked us through the venue spruced up with blooms in pretty colors. The golden archway was made even more beautiful with garden roses, hydrangeas, and more flowers in blue and white.
"Lush, luxe and love. Inspired by French Riviera with 'lush' details juxtaposing intricate installations, this set up spells dreamy and ethereal wrapped into one concept," explains the designer in another post.
One of the most notable details we loved is the mirrored aisle where the Coleen and the rest of the entourage walked. Like a continuation of the two pools flanking the aisle on both sides, it's as if they walked on water as it reflects the beauty of the sky above.
An ornate archway reminiscent of Victorian fretwork complements the aisle and blooms, completing the whimsical feel of the ceremony.
For the reception, the Balesin Royal Villa was transformed into an elegant forest wonderland with the interplay of lighting, blooms, and sophisticated decor.
An archway of blooms, mood lighting, and an overall dreamy, romantic setup welcomed the couple and their guests.
Captivating crystal chandeliers liven up the ceiling and add vintage flair to the event. The long VIP table is surrounded by oval back chairs with gold legs and trimmings. Elegant tableware and a fancy centerpiece complete the look.
If you look up, you'll also notice that a bunch of greens were used to conceal the wiring of the lights for a cohesive garden-like aesthetic.
The other side of the reception venue also has a long table and chic accessories with acrylic chairs rounding up the exquisite setting.
The table setting looked equally beautiful to match the venue—with glass candelabras and plants as centerpiece.
Votive candles in glass candleholders add drama and a vintage touch to each table. These pieces complement the chic dinnerware.
Ornate plates and details in gold serve as extra accents as well. Each place setting features a golden charger topped with a perfect orchid. On each table, pretty blooms tie the look together with the rest of the venue.
Without a doubt, #ColeenGotTheBill was an affair to remember. Congratulations to the happy couple!
