Cramped, uncomfortable and confined—these are only some of the words that have been associated with the concept of small space living. While it's true that living in limited square footage has its challenges, that doesn't mean it can't come with countless benefits. To convince you, here's a list of reasons why you should consider going for a tiny home:

1. Prepping for guests is really easy.

The simplest tasks such as making the bed, folding laundry or dusting shelves clean makes the biggest impact in a small space. If you have guests coming over and you're pressed for prep time, all you have to do is a few quick hacks and your home is ready.

2. It saves you money in the long run.

From investing and purchasing, to maintenance and utilities, smallers homes generally cost less than having a traditional home which saves you a lot over time. Trust us, your bank account will thank you later for living a simpler lifestyle today.

3. There's less space to decorate.

While some homeowners live for choosing paint colors, shopping for decor, and embarking on renovation projects, there are a handful that enjoy a simple, slightly-quirky aesthetic. If you live in a compact home, you're forced to pare down your belongings to things you love and adore.

4. It motivates you to spend time outdoors.

In smaller homes, there isn't much space to run and hide. If you need to take a breather or an escape from your usual environment, you're more likely to go out and take a walk in the park or people watch at your local coffee shop.

5. It encourages creativity.

Living in a compact unit will teach you how to think outside the box—when there's not enough toom to work with, you will learn to apply creativity in every situation and make almost any unique idea work.
