4 Best Things About Living with Your Better Half
Can you imagine waking up next to someone that you want to spend the rest of your life with?
We will be the first to admit it: living with your husband or wife can sometimes drive you crazy! After all, most of us are occasionally annoyed by our significant other's messy ways and strange habits.
However, we have to concede that reminding our partner to put the toilet seat down or place clothes in the hamper is a small price to pay for the gift of sharing a home with the one you love.
Here are 4 of our favorite things about living with your better half:
- Having someone to come home to
As we sat down to make this list, this is the first thing that came to mind. We think that after working hard at the office and braving the congested roads of Metro Manila, coming home to (or waiting for) our partner is something worth looking forward to.Â
- Enjoying meals together
And, once you do make it home, it's great to have someone that you can enjoy a meal with, even if it's something as simple as a take-out meal from a fastfood restaurant or left-over roast chicken from a few days ago. Â
- Having someone to go out (or stay in) with
Although we firmly believe that you can be happy on your own and that being alone every now and then is good for you, we still think that it's comforting to know that when you do need it, you can trust someone to be by your side.
- Building, renovating, or decorating a home together
Creating your dream home can be easier (or at least, more enjoyable) when you have someone to share the responsibility with. For one, with your combined incomes, you may be able to afford a better place, building materials, or furniture pieces. Your partner can also think of options that you never even considered.
