This Tiny, Nature-Inspired Studio Unit Looks Like a Relaxing Haven
It looks gorgeous!
A small condo in the middle of the city may not sound like a relaxing place to live in, but this nature-inspired studio unit will make you think otherwise.
Interior designer Cara Fajardo transformed this plain, cramped space by subtly bringing the outdoors indoors.
To open up the compact space, Cara went for a neutral color scheme, which helps reflect all the natural light coming from the windows. But to keep the walls from looking dull, the interior designer opted for an accent wall paper, which features a gorgeous leaf pattern.
"The main feature of this neutral nest is the bed," Cara tells Real Living in an email interview. "We pushed it to edge of the room to take advantage of the view. When you are in bed, it will feel like you are floating."
The interior designer also added touches of wood for a calming tropical feel.
To maximize the space, Cara also installed plenty of wall shelves and filled them up with a couple of potted plants. Take a look at the cozy retreat:
"With all the hustle and bustle of the world, being able to retreat to the comfort of your home, be it a 23sqm condo unit, is such an important thing.
