Overwhelmed With Clutter? Try This Organizing Hack
This tidying practice doesn't take too long
We think everyone would agree when we say that we all want to have neat and organized homes. However, in reality, there are a few who aren't interested in going through the complete cleaning process. We keep delaying tasks and before we know it, the mess has multiplied and we're overwhelmed.
If you're tired of the same cynical cycle, try the laundry basket method. Simply put, it's a mind-over-matter exercise that entails gathering everything that's out of place and keeping it in one spot for tidying later.Â
Start by grabbing a spare laundry basket (or a big box, if you don't have an extra hamper), then walk around your place and drop everything that isn't in the proper spot in it. Whatever is taking up space where it doesn't belong, chuck it in your basket.Â
This is a quick way, almost like magic, to make your home look cleaner therefore clearing your mind in the process. If you're riding on that clean space feeling, take it a step further by putting everything back where it needs to go. With much neater surroundings, you'll be able to recharge better.Â
