Shortly after retiring from his 40-year job at a pharmaceutical company, homeowner Jay took on another project: the construction of the house he now shares with wife Noemi and their children. Just as the couple always wanted, the home has an open layout with connected living, dining, and kitchen areas. Jay adds that since they would someday find it difficult to climb the stairs, he also requested for the master bedroom to be built on the ground floor.

To find the perfect furniture and accessories for the space, the family turned to interior designers and Real Living staff members Paula de Guzman and Dagny Madamba. With their expert advice and interesting suggestions, the design duo helped bring out the beauty of the family home.
