Pristine white walls, crisp lines, and heavy glass windows are major characteristics of this family abode
Light pours through the heavy glass windows surrounding the home, bouncing easily off stark white walls as air circulates throughout the space. The furniture and design is clean, simple, and modern – neutral tones, the rare splash of color, crisp lines and hard edges. This is the place the Padilla family comes home to.
The picturesque house is the couple’s dream home. Both avid art collectors and with a taste for the clean and simple, the couple already had a firm grasp of what they wanted to do with their space—crisp white lines, minimal colors to further heighten the focus on their art collection—before tapping architect Patrick Tan and civil engineer Jong Morales. This decisiveness on how their home should look greatly contributed to the fast turnaround time of finishing their house, coupled with the fact that they also bought furniture, appliances, and other knickknacks before construction even started. The result is a spic-and-span contemporary house with bespoke furniture and colorful touches of life here and there.
