Architect Florante “Jun” Hernandez and daughter Christine Hernandez-Limaco worked together on this three-storey house
For as long as she can remember, Christine Limaco has dreamed of living in a sweet, country-style cottage. Even as a child, she often thought about owning a lovely house with a big porch where she could sip tea in the afternoon. And so, when the time came for her to build her own nest with husband Junie, she took the chance to make her cherished dream come true.
Christine’s father, architect Florante “Jun” Hernandez, was more than happy to help her design the country-inspired abode that she has always wanted. “It was my dad’s gift—to build the house for his eldest child,” she explains. More than her father’s construction skills and experience, Christine says that what she treasured most was the privilege of working closely with him. “Collaborating with my dad was the most memorable part of the experience,” she shares.
