Watching the growing selection of celebrity home tours popping up on YouTube as of late is definitely an entertaining past time for us regular folks, but imagine actually getting to live inside one of those million-peso homes. Well, apparently now you can, especially if you’re planning a vacay with your family in Cavite anytime soon.

Parokya ni Edgar frontman Chito Miranda has finally opened his rest house to guests, and the best part is, it’s just a 10-minute drive away from Tagaytay! As mentioned on an Instagram post last September 2020, the singer bought the property because he used to rent in the same area whenever he's in need of R&R. “Madalas kasi akong mag-rent ng bahay sa Tagaytay dati to isolate myself, away from the noise and temptations of Manila, tuwing nagsusulat ako ng kanta,” his caption read. “Sakto din kasi yung weather dito dahil di ko kelangan mag-aircon buong gabi…”

In a more recent Facebook post by Chito, he announced that the Miranda Rest House is now ready to take in guests starting this February. The place has four bedrooms in total, and those interested can book one room for P5000. However, if you’re staying in Cavite with a considerably large group of people, you may want to rent all four rooms for P20,000. Alternatively, renting the whole place all to yourself, including the separate events pavilion, will cost you a total of P50,000.

Chito also dropped photos of the property, and it’s safe to say we’re already green with envy. The rest house comes with a vast backyard complete with picnic tables, an outdoor basketball court, a swimming pool, a treehouse and playground for the kids, and a smart TV in every room installed with YouTube and Netflix.

Of course, if you do get to book the entire place, the singer only requests that you leave the property the way you found it. “Please, please, please, keep in mind na resthouse talaga namin ito, and nagse-stay talaga kami dito to relax pag walang work...so please take care of our resthouse, tulad ng pag-alaga namin, if ever maki-stay kayo,” wrote Chito at the end of his post.
