Take a Tour of Rachelle Ann Go's Cozy Home in London
We can't pick a favorite spot!
On March 10, 2020, Rachelle Ann Go shared a video of her entering her new home in London for the first time. On December 1, 2019, her husband, Martin Spies, got the keys while Rachelle Ann was still in the Philippines; she arrived in London 14 days later. The singer wrote, "I never realized that I will be living in London with a husband. Dreams do come true."
We got glimpse of her home through Rachelle Ann's vlog. The second floor wasn't done yet, so she called this a mini tour. The theater actress shares that they changed quite a few things inside their house to brighten up the space. They painted over the gray walls in their entry way and replaced the rough carpet with cute floor tiles. The kitchen cabinets were also gray, and they covered it up with white contact paper. Brilliant!
Upon entering, we immediately see the living room, which has a giant mirror, a fireplace, and a lot of indoor plants. Rachelle Ann mentions that the first furniture they ever got was their sofa, which Martin slept on for a few weeks before she arrived in London. Her favorite piece in the living room is their vintage rug.
They have their own corners in the kitchen. Rachelle Ann shares that at the beginning of lockdown, "wala [silang] ginawa ni Martin kundi kumain [at] mag-bake." Right next to the kitchen is their dining area, which is where they spend a lot of time entertaining guests.
And because the weather in London can be unpredictable, the couple opted to keep their garden sofa in the conservatory. This is where they spend time playing music.
