Modern Contemporary Style for Manny Pacquiao's Los Angeles Home

Modern furniture and fun accent pieces add spunk to this celebrity home in the United States

International boxing champion Manny Pacquiao owns several properties in the country and abroad. In 2008, he acquired a two-story, four bedroom house in the upscale neighborhood of Hancock Park in Los Angeles, California. Unlike Manny’s classic European mansion in General Santos City back home, the LA house is a sleek and modern structure with fun and colorful accents.

While most of the house has a black and white color palette, the Pacquiaos chose loud colors for their décor pieces and sumptuous fabrics for the rugs, pillows, and upholstery. The result is a fun and bright home perfect for relaxing pre and post boxing matches of the People’s Champ.

House Façade

The two-story home’s simple and quasi-Spanish façade, with its tiled roofs and arched windows, is a stark contrast to its fun and modern interiors.

The wooden double doors lead to a foyer with Manny’s photos on one wall. The house’s modern interior design is revealed in a sleek tableau—a round mirror, a metal boulder table, and a console table with Lucite legs.

Living Room

Darkwood doorframes and ceiling planks stand out in this almost all-white living room. Rugs and throw pillows with plush fabrics provide texture to this sleek area, and red pops as color accent.

Living Room

Floor-to-ceiling glass doors let in sunlight, making the room seem airy and bright.

Boxing Glove

A boxing glove is the perfect piece to complete the living area.

Powder Room

The powder room resembles those seen in luxury hotels and spas. The muted color scheme is balanced by the use of different-textured tiles. A round mirror and a tall glass vase with a cherry-blossom branch complete the look of this sparse powder room.

Dining Room

Just like the living room, the dining room follows a black and white palette, spruced up with a mix of classic and modern pieces. The Baccarat crystal chandelier’s translucent pieces are echoed in the dining chairs’ Lucite legs. An imperfect octagonal mirror adds a fun touch, while the painting provides the red accent to the room.

The streamlined and functional kitchen is done in silver and dark brown, and features a shelving system of German engineering. A backsplash of tiles in varying shades of blue create a cool background that goes well with the sleek steel appliances.

Breakfast Nook

This breakfast nook follows the kitchen’s blue accent color, executed in the translucent blue chairs. A silver and spiky chandelier tops this quirky area.

Swimming Pool

Just like the bare concrete exterior of the house, the backyard pool has a simple layout and exudes a modern tropical vibe.

Wooden lounge chairs with cushioned seats, tivoli lights, and various plants add to the area’s laidback feel.

The clear glass on the doors and windows allow the Pacquiao family to enjoy the refreshing view of the outdoors.

Master Bedroom

The king-size bed is the main focal point of the spacious master bedroom.

A seating area across the bed is upholstered in feminine fabrics with supple textures.

Master Bathroom

The master bathroom’s gray and white tiles look like bare concrete from afar. The space echoes the house’s modern design with the glass-paneled shower area and angular bathtub. A red-and-white spike chandelier adds a jolt of color to the room.

Boys' Bedroom

The boys’ bedroom has a pair of beds with tufted headboards, suede benches, shag carpets and hanging mobiles.

Girls' Bedroom

The girls' bedroom has the same layout, furniture and accessories. However, the space is made distinct by the different colors.

Jinkee and Manny share space in the walk-in closet, made to appear larger by a full-length mirror on one end. Open shelves and numerous drawers make it convenient for the owners to retrieve their sartorial choices.
