People know her as the bubbly host on TV who often wears fashionable pieces in her afternoon show stints, but Mariel Rodriguez’s interior design preferences, as seen in this three-bedroom condominium unit, leans more on timeless design. Before marrying actor Robin Padilla, Mariel considered this Mandaluyong unit as her home—with a look that's more subdued, albeit leaning on the side of glam. The design inspiration? The posh interiors of Adora, a sophisticated lifestyle store at Greenbelt 5, Makati, which carries foreign luxury brands. Decorated with plush seating options and classy chandeliers, there lies a similarity between these spaces—an air of elegance.

Another point of interest is her color choices. Almost all furniture pieces in the house are in moody black, her preferred color. To balance it out, she selected red and white as accent colors. Taking all of these into account, the host got what she ultimately wanted—a “glam, posh, pad feel”—if not more.
