A Look Inside Derek Ramsay and Andrea Torres' Sleek, Art-Filled Home
Get a sneak peek of the intelligently-designed house that passes as a museum for local art.

Derek Ramsay, together with Andrea Torres, treated their Youtube viewers to a first and exclusive look of his new home. They showed almost every corner of the house, including the areas still in construction, sharing their future plans for them and the small details that make each room special and undeniably homey. It specifically highlighted Derek's desire to turn it into a true family home that also happens to have a jaw-droppng display of local art.
Ahead, we run down some of our favorite parts of the tour:
Facade
The three-storey home's facade is a vision just like its luxuriously-finished interior. From this view, you'll see the big decorative rock on their lawn, which had to be delivered by crane for its immense size and weight. Derek shares that it almost hit their glass windows and perimeter wall when it arrived.
Entryway
Derek's display of local art starts right from the doorway. This door was crafted by one of the actor's certified favorites, Jinggoy Buensuceso, who has several other works displayed in the home. A few footsteps away is a stunning painting by Dominic Jenon.
Living Room
The living room has minimal furniture, but the grandeur of the black Zaha Hadid couches definitely makes up for it. Also, if you look up, you'll see the origami-inspired metal sculpture also by Jinggoy Buensuceso.
Derek's Parents' Bedroom
Derek shares that he's in the process of convincing his parents to live with him. Once they agree, they'd be staying in this bright, cozy bedroom with clear glass windows.
Dining Area and Kitchen
The dining area houses a long marble table with tan stiletto chairs. For the kitchen, Derek opted for a beautiful set-up from Poliform with a combination of wood, stainless steel, and lacquer.
Pool Area
Derek likens this outdoor seating area by the pool as a homey, resort-like space. It boasts of a bamboo ceiling, which the actor says really made a difference when it comes to giving the area a softer look.
Elevator and Powder Room
Derek had elevators built to make the multi-storey house more accessible for his parents. The illuminated wall next to it serves as the sole light sources, maintaining the chic, dark theme.
Powder Room
Though their entertaining space is upstairs, the first floor has a powder that's accessible for visitors.
Den
Unlike the monochrome living room, the den has a pop of color from this mustard couch. On top of the dresser beside it are Derek's acting awards and a commissioned art piece of his side profile. But the real centrepiece of this room is the large, black resin sculpture by the window.
Master Bedroom
The master bedroom has a clean set-up with wooden floors and plain walls that are made special by more local artwork. By the door is a piece Andrea loves, called the Nightcrawler by Hamilton Sulit. Behind the headboard is a wallbound sculpture by Jinggoy Buensuceso that Derek first saw in a hotel and eventually had made for the home.
Derek's Son's Bedroom
Derek says his son Austin is as particular about his interiors as he is. Austin's bedroom is also decorated by different pieces of art, the biggest of which is the elephant sculpture above the headboard.
Gym
Their gym is as spacious as a gym should be, facing a glass window that gives the couple a great view while they work out. Behind them is a trophy shelf with most of Derek's sporting awards, but mostly of his achievements from playing golf.
Entertaining Area
As you may have noticed, all their bedrooms and rest areas are at the bottom of the house. That's because they opted for a flipped set-up, putting the wide open areas for entertaining guests on the third floor.
Basement
Derek and Andrea also showed the basement, where the actor stores his sweet rides. He gave a short peek of a red Ferrari, which he says he almost sold if it weren't for Andrea who loves it.
