Celebrity Dream Home Updates: Construction, Renovation, and Settling In

A lot of new beginnings!

Several Filipino celebrities recently shared their plans of building their dream homes, or are already in the process of moving into them. Some have gone all-out with customizations, some maintained an efficient and straight-forward space, but and all shared the joy of acquiring and creating a new home for them and their loved ones. Read on to learn more about these stars and their new homes!

Sharon Cuneta

A Mega Mansion  is only fitting for Mega Star Sharon Cuneta. This enormous residence is currently being built across 3,000 square meters of land, with 2,300 square meters being the total floor area of the house. It includes a pool with a hot tub, a pool house, a playground, a dog house, and a grooming corner for their furbabies. The home will also have a personal wing for the Mega Star, which will include a  recording studio, dressing room, and studio for vlogs.

Bianca Gonzales

The Pinoy Big Brother host and her husband, JC Intal, began constructing their new home in September 2018. Bianca said that they decided to build a new house due to the proportions of their current house not being suitable for their needs.

On her Instagram account, she had constantly been updating fans on the construction’s progress. In one post, she was particularly excited about the kitchen where the family will spend quality time together. In June 2021, Bianca Gonzalez, JC Intal, and her two daughters Carmen and Lucia finally moved into their new home.

Camille Prats

Camille Prats and VJ Yambao started planning their dream home in 2019. In 2020, Camille’s family granted their wish to construct their new home with her father’s company. A few days ago, the couple posted a virtual tour of their nearly finished home—which features a man cave with a minibar, a gym, a walk-in closet, and a family hall that will serve as a playroom and homeschool area for the kids.

DJ Loonyo

Eight years ago, DJ Loonyo dreamt of building a home for his mother. He lost his family home when he was younger due to the family’s debt accumulation when his father was sick. Over the years, DJ Loonyo strived to help his family by pursuing a career in music as he evolved from a professional choreographer to a DJ to a singer. He was finally able to build a home for his mother on April 2021.

Alex Gonzaga

Alex Gonzaga and Mikee Morada are currently doing major renovation on the house and lot they received as a gift from Mikee’s parents in Batangas. The two plan to have a modern Mediterranean theme for their dream home.
