Sneak Peek: Bea Alonzo's Gorgeous Apartment in Madrid, Spain

To celebrate the 100th episode of her Youtube channel, actress Bea Alonzo revealed that she’s now a proud homeowner in Spain! Bea shared that she started the process by looking up properties on the Internet before flying to Madrid in March to tour the apartments. A half-Filipino real estate broker, Paolo Piccio, checked out the spaces with Bea and made sure she was able to look into the features of each.

“It’s good to invest in Spain but unlike in the Philippines, mas mabagal ang pag-appreciate ng real estate properties in Madrid or in all of Spain. Depende again sa purpose… if you are trying to grow your money, it’s always better to invest it here in the Philippines,” she advises.
Just like any homebuyer, Bea has a checklist of her own when apartment hunting. The actress told her broker that it’s important that the property she will buy:
- Has a good location that’s safe and accessible
- Has two to three bedrooms since she’s buying the apartment for her family as well
- Needs to have many windows so they can enjoy Madrid’s vibrant energy
- Has an elevator going to the unit
- Has a heating and cooling system

With these things in mind, Bea toured a total of six apartments within her short stay in Madrid. She shared that it was fun yet tiring, but she’s happy that she was able to see the sights of the city’s neighborhoods.
Check out some of the apartments Bea toured below:
House #1 is found in Malasaña, an artist district where galleries and graffities abound. Some of the apartment’s distinct features include the high ceiling and exposed bricks.
Meanwhile, House #2 is located in Chamberí, said to be a “traditional district with an aristocratic architectural flair.” Bea mentioned how she loves the quiet neighborhood. The building where the apartment is found is designed by Tristan Domecq, a renowned architect/interior designer from Spain.
Upon entrance, you can instantly see how upscale the space is, with a kitchen completed with Carrara marble welcoming guests. The actress also mentioned that there are only two residents per floor.

House #3 is found near La Casa de Papel and features an equipped gym that residents can use. While it meets some of Bea’s must-haves, she also noted that it has a small balcony.
In her vlog, Bea visited three more apartments, noting the pros and cons of each. Before ending her 100th vlog, she happily shared that she decided to purchase House #2 even if it’s a bit over her set budget.
We can’t help but agree with Bea’s choice as among the spaces she saw, House #2 is definitely for keeps. It’s found in a good location, the apartment is completed with high-end finishes, and the balconies are big bonuses. The actress also said that she likes the idea of building a community within the building. We can’t wait for the complete apartment tour once she spruces it up. Congratulations, Bea!
