It goes without saying that being a mom or dad changes you in more ways than one. Having children recalibrates your life compass. You're on a new journey with different priorities and even bigger goals. The same can be said about new mom Angeline Quinto.

Angeline, 32, is set to move into a new house—her first home with her own family. It's a downsize from where she previously stayed, but the singer-actress is now opting for a more minimalist and simpler life as she embraces motherhood.

The smaller space is also not stopping Angeline from getting into her full-on nesting phase. The singer-actress is getting the three-storey house renovated with the help of interior designer Nicole Tan.

"Homey and cozy lang talaga 'yung house na gusto natin simple lang din because Angeline wants to downsize and simplify her life kaya din ang daming liveselling kasi nagbabawas ng gamit," Nicole shared.

In her latest Youtube vlog, she shared the rendered designs they wanted to incorporate to their family home.

Safety For Baby

Making the home a safe space for their baby boy is a priority for Angeline. With this in mind, she opted for a stair railing design that minimizes the risk of possible accidents.

Kasi 'yung nakaraan nakita natin may space talaga na pwedeng lusutan ng bata," she said about the new design.

Nursery

Angeline also gave a glimpse into how they will transform an empty room to become her son's nursery. The overall design takes inspiration from the tropics and is peppered with animal elements.

The crib also features a pull-out bed which she says, "pwedeng gamitin ng magbabantay kay baby." The nursery also has an en suite walk-in closet for clothes and other baby items.

Home Renovation

Aside from the living room and the nursery, Angeline is also sprucing up the kitchen, the hallways, master's bedroom, and she's also dedicating a room where she can hone her craft in music.

Angeline also epxresses how much she looks forward to see how her first family home will turn out.
