What We Know About Andi Eigenmann’s Siargao Home Thus Far
Everything looks presko.
It was back in 2019 when we first had a glimpse of Andi Eigenmann and Philmar Alipayo's dream home—a two-storey structure of nipa and concrete at the heart of Siargao.
Flash-forward to 2021: The house itself now seems to be done, as the family has recently started settling in and decorating the space.
In her past few vlogs, Andi has shared a few quick updates on how they have been slowly turning transforming the space with their own, cozy touches.
The façade of their home reminds one of a modern bahay kubo; its structure is all about having great ventilation, as shown by the natural roofing, the outdoor staircases, and the high wooden windows on both floors.
On the opposite side of the house are balconies facing the backyard, which makes everything look presko. According to Andi, the home will be a bed-and-breakfast in the future, but for now, it’ll stay as their private residence.
Philmar has been busy with gardening, adding local greenery to their front and backyards with the help of friends.
Andi, on the other hand, has been building their cabinets.
While she shares that she still can’t do a full home tour, she gives us a quick peek into their kids’ play room-slash-home school, which she says will still need a bit of arranging.
We’re definitely looking forward to the personal touches that Andi and her family gives their home once everything is done!
