For actress Katrina Halili, purchasing 13 hectares of land in El Nido, Palawan proved to be a wise decision. Aside from building a three-bedroom house within the property, she also maximized the space by taking care of a few animals, having a small rice field, and renting out the piggery to one of the locals. Often referred to as Katrina’s Farm, the sprawling property also highlights a creek, a lush forest, and a never-ending view of greenery.

To say that the house is a serene escape would be an understatement. Not only is it a welcome retreat away from the spotlight, it can also be compared to a secret garden, a place where Katrina can spend precious time with her daughter Katy and her loved ones. While the actress had no part in the construction of the house, her mom Malou took charge of the overall look. It boasts of open spaces, minimalist bedrooms, and a charming aesthetic that’s reminiscent of country homes.
