De-clutter your living area.
Clean up your space as clutter and everyday mess tend to create visual noise – thus ruining your sanctuary.
Push your sofa towards the biggest windows.
This will allow you to take hold of as much daylight as you can.
Create an all-neutral palette.
Do this by choosing textured pillows in natural fibers, natural-colored banig, and a gray pouf or ottoman.
Place bits of home accessories.
Choose pieces that remind you of the coastlines – shell décor, sand in clear bottles, and light linens.
Add potted plants in few quantities.
A few plants is modest enough to bring the outside in without bringing back the visual clutter.
Bonus Tip: If you don’t have a neutral-colored sofa, cloak your cushions in a white blanket and tuck the corners in.
