- A fitted and flat sheet works well in tandem. A fitted sheet has gartered corners to make the fit of the covers snug on the mattress. The flat sheet is placed on top of the fitted sheet.
- Invest in good quality pillows; get hypoallergenic ones, as much as possible. Make sure that your pillowcase fits well with your pillows.
- Cover your bed with a comforter or duvet. "Comforters are good coverings, which may also serve as blankets."
