Q: We won't stay long in the house that we rent, but we want to decorate it. Can you recommend practical home decor that can easily be installed and removed? - Rhoemy Bingcang-Rillera

A: For artwork and paintings, you may want to use those nailers that you can buy from Handyman. They are quite easy to install and remove, and don't make big holes on the walls. You can also display them on easels.

Another option is to use a display shelf unit to showcase your collections. The lower shelves are a great way to maximize storage.

You can also use plants as home accents. They are inexpensive, easy to maintain, and you can take them with you when you move out. Plants also soften the look of a house.
