With just a few adjustments, you can make it the coziest place at home

Let's admit it, we're all familiar with stress. From meeting deadlines to accomplishing errands, there are days when we get so tired that we simply want to sleep and get some rest. During these days, the bedroom is our sanctuary. As much as possible, we want it to be clean, cozy, and perfect for relaxation.

If your bedroom looks plain and the same for a good number of years, you can work on simple projects to make it even more homey! Here are 5 ideas that may just help you.

Hang string lights above your bed

Warm lighting can help set the mood in your room. Aside from the usual table and floor lamps, you may add a whimsical touch to your space by hanging string lighs. You can use Christmas lights with warm colors to make it work.

RL Tip: If there's no nearby outlet, you may use extension cords! Just remember to consult with an electrician if there are electrical concerns and problems.

Add a canopy that you made on your own

For added privacy, you may want to add a canopy to your bed. It's so easy to do, you can do it in six easy steps! Since it can be really hot in our country, you may want to consider light and sheer fabrics.

Add an interesting bedside lamp

How cool is this pulley lantern? If you want a similar piece, we suggest you visit a couple of home stores to scout for items. You can also ask help from the electrician. Aside from this interesting lamp, you may also upcycle an old piece to save on costs. You may update the look of your lamp using recycled plastic.
