Be inspired by these charming spaces and give your own cooking nook a new look

Having a well-organized and clean kitchen will surely encourage you to whip up more delicious meals for the family. An additional bonus would be having a space that's lovely and inspiring, too!

Transform your kitchen into a cozy nook by adding a few personal touches and other well-thought-out details. Let these five spaces inspire you.

Country-Inspired with Soft Hues

If you have enough space, you may want to expand your kitchen by having an island to serve as work area or breakfast nook.

Get the look: Create a similar feel in your kitchen by making sure that you have enough shelves to accommodate kitchenware and other essentials. Inject pops of color by creating a similar shelf as seen in the photo. Opt for hues like Tiffany blue or robin's egg blue.

Turn your kitchen into an instant gallery-like space by hanging frames.

Get the look: Hang similar frames for a uniformed look or go quirky by choosing frames in different sizes and colors. Aside from hanging prints related to food or cooking, and of course, displaying photos of your family, why not giving it a twist by opting to display photos of family and friends enjoying a good meal?

Keep the area looking neat by working with white paint and clean lines.

Feel like you're in a remote home in the woods with this small yet efficient kitchen.

Get the look: Make sure you have enough shelves and storage options! If your kitchen space is as narrow as the one in the photo, you can transform one side of the wall into a long open shelf where you can put condiments, cooking essentials, and jars of ingredients, to name a few.

Keep the windows open so you can maximize natural light.

Small Kitchen Corner

This layout is ideal if you're living in a condo unit. Turn a corner into a well-utilized kitchen space by having shelves and cabinets.

Get the look: Separate the area from the rest of the house by painting it in a bold and chic hue. Create a balanced look by adding dark tones such as black then opting for wooden shelves and a wooden countertop. Personalize the space by hanging prints and putting a couple of books on display.

Modern Kitchen

Complete your new family home with a modern and spacious kitchen. Add traditional elements like classic cabinets with fancy drawer pulls and handles.

Get the look: Use subway tiles as kitchen backsplash! These pieces are available at Rockstone, CW Home Depot. You may also buy regular white tiles then have them cut to size. Click here to learn more.
