For homeowners that are preparing for their retirement years, it's a good idea to build a house with wide, open spaces. This is exactly what couple Jay and Noemi did for their new Quezon City home. Apart from making the property feel airy and spacious, the lack of walls also makes it easier for the couple to move around freely.

To bring out the beauty of the structure, interior designers and Real Living staff members Paula de Guzman and Dagny Madamba furnished the rooms with modern pieces and playful details. If you would also like a modern tropical feel in your own space, check out these furniture and accessories.
