Before building and moving into her new home in Quezon City, Kris Aquino lived in a bright and welcoming country-cottage-inspired haven in the same city. The property is dominated by white and happy colors—a far cry from the Makati condominium units that we also featured. Kris has a fondness for flowers and it’s evident in how these are displayed around the house. Aside from these colorful additions, the house also boasts of a backyard, a vertical herb garden, and a lovely bougainvillea garden where she and her loved ones can relax and take a breather. Here are more easy ideas we can learn from this home:

Tulips are best admired in open spaces where their beauty can stand out. Take your cue from Kris’s simple setup by placing it on top of a piano, a console table, or on a side table in the living area.
