Neri Miranda Shares Tips on How to Start Your Own Vegetable Garden
Which crops are the easiest to cultivate?
It’s no secret that Neri Miranda loves growing greens. She has a vacant lot where she cultivates an array of vegetables, and she often shares videos of her gardening adventures online. She had previously noted that growing your own veggies had a lot of benefits, because aside from defraying grocery expenses, it also allows you to spend quality time with your family.
In a recent interview with Summit Media, Neri gives tips on how any beginner can start his or her own sustainable vegetable garden.
“Ang madadaling itanim talaga, number one, pechay. After two months, or less than three months, puwede ka nang mag-ani nang mag-ani, gugupitin mo lang ‘yan,” she explains. “Mustasa. Okra, napaka-dali ng okra. Ibubuhos mo lang diyan… Pipino, napaka dali niyang alagaan.”
