Here are three things we know to be true—succulents can liven up any space, houseplants can purify the air at home, and a potted wonder is a décor must-have many homeowners love. There’s no denying the power of these green superstars—they turn the smallest of units into a resort-like haven and the biggest of homes into a cozy and safer sanctuary. Aside from the numerous benefits we get from plants, they can be given as extra special gifts, too.

Whether you’re shopping for your space or you’re on the lookout for possible surprises you can give to your friends, here are 7 stores that are worth a follow. Check out their fantastic feeds and be inspired to decorate your home. Don’t blame us if you end up buying more for your space—we’re sure you’ll find a special place for your new acquisitions:

1. Basic Commodity | @bsccmdty | bsccmdty[at]gmail.com

Established in 2016, Basic Commodity is  a slow living lifestyle shop that offers artisanal woodcraft, plantcraft, and other lifestyle goods. Their feed showcases a Zen vibe—with posts highlighting wooden plates and bowls made by Filipino craftsmen, paso (pots), bilao (woven round trays), and a variety of plants.

Aside from checking out the Kokedamas, you can also inquire about the Philippine orchids, ferns, and other tropical plants they offer. Basic Commodity also gives you two options: you can purchase plants that can be hung or displayed on a table.

2. Space Garden | @spacegardenplants | othergarden[at]gmail.com

If you’re looking for unique terrariums, Space Garden takes these green homes to the next level by working with stones, tree branches, and other unique planters

We’ve got a long list of favorites, but we’ll surely collect the beauties placed in jars and recycled bottles. When placed in a corner of a room, it will add a vintage meets minimalist feel to a space. If you have a specific plant or look in mind, Space Garden can have it customized for you. They also offer landscaping services.

Femi’s ceramic vases and other pieces sell quickly so it’s best to inquire ASAP if you spot something you like. If you have questions, you can e-mail her at femicachola[at]gmail.com.

4. Tierra Plants | @tierraplants | tierraplants.com

Tierra Plants takes pride in their three decades of landscape design experience. They don’t just give you plant options, they can help you find the right planter that will complement your chosen green wonder and your space, too. The prices of plants range from P300 to P1, 500, while planters cost up to P4, 200. Some of the plants you can check out include: Livistona, Pothos, Monstera Deliciosa, and Peace Lily. If you can’t get enough of cute succulents, charming terrariums, and lovely indoor plants, The Greenhouse Project has got it all. Established in 2013, the store has also been known for herbs, hydroponics, and the numerous workshops they hold.

Our favorites include the air plants and the matching air planters—a combo can add a refreshing, minimalist touch to your bedroom or living area. If you’re looking for a new pot or two, you can spot these green beauties when you visit The Craft Central, Common Room, and Hey Kessy.
