Herbs make great teas

Aside from buying commercial tea bags when you visit the supermarket, you can actually concoct your own! You can use tarragon, peppermint, and lemon mint for your tea. “You can just pluck off the leaves and then dump it in hot water, let it stay there for a couple of minutes then you can drink it right after," Joanne shares.

RL Tip: Make a sweet drink by adding a bit of honey!

They are fragrant

Herbs can eliminate bad odors at home. It also keeps your space smelling fresh! The leaves of herbs or peppermint add a relaxing vibe to your kitchen.

Herbs are inexpensive

Since herbs are mostly used for cooking, they are not that costly unlike other plants. Just visit your local gardening store and ask the sales clerk about the price list of herbs. They are grown locally and are available at affordable prices.

They are easy to care for

One of the best things about herbs is that it can be grown outdoors or indoors, so it’s easy to maintain different kinds at home. If you plan to use it as an indoor plant, place the herbs near a windowsill so that it can receive ample sunlight. Make use of chic and cute containers that can serve as accent pieces at home as well.
