Upgrade Your Bathroom With One Design Tweak

Is artwork in the bathroom a yay or nay?

The answer is yay! For a lot of people, decorating the bathroom can be a challenge—little did we know, sprucing up the T&B can be as simple as hanging up wall decor and you're good to go. To make sure you don't make any rookie mistakes, feel free to use these homes as inspiration:

Since the bathroom is somewhat a concealed room and no one really hangs out in it for long periods of time, it is the perfect opportunity to go crazy with art. Display fun and quirky pieces that you wouldn't use in your main living spaces.

If you prefer a more toned-down and minimalist-inspired look, consider going for pastel-tinted pieces in simple wooden frames. These can give your T&B an extra oomph without looking loud and overdone.

For a more drastic yet subtle statement, go with only one eye-catching piece in a bold frame. In this bathroom, there are a lot of patterns happening at once but is tied together with a monochromatic palette.

Add charm to a rustic-industrial bathroom with a colorful print. It will add life to the concrete elements in the room and give a more homey ambiance to your place of relaxation.

Art isn't limited to framed pieces, too! If you'd like to mix paintings with other accessories, go for it. It makes for a more interesting display and gives your bathroom a personal touch.
