Must-See: This Hallway Mural Changes Shape

You have to see it to believe it!

Do you remember, as youngsters, being on a long road trip and thinking that the moon was running with you, too?

Passing the main corridor of the VF Headquarters offers a similar experience, except this time your eyes aren't playing a trick on you. Space Oddity, a moving statement piece that merges graphic design and anamorphic techniques, is an experimental project of a Switzerland-based group of artists.

The circular optical illusion, visible from the viewpoint when standing at one end of the passage, gradually loses form as one moves towards the door and continues to evolve into a composition of abstract elements.

Inspired by the song namesake recorded by David Bowie in 1969, they wanted to blend architectural and chromatic surroundings with a symmetric and luminous facility. Since working with geometric shapes, the artists chose shades of blue to keep it fresh and relaxing without sacrificing aesthetic.
