The Area: Entry Foyer

Give your entrance a fresh look by adding foliage instead of knick-knacks. A console table or vintage hat rack is the perfect spot to perch miniature plants such as these mini Bromeliads and a Maya plant. You may use a simple, clear glass square vases instead or ordinary pots to keep the plants clean looking indoors.

Small Space Tip: A hat stand is a quirky alternative to a huge console table in a tiny foyer and mini plants are great in lieu of a giant potted one. Play with different heights and containers for added interest.

The Area: Dining Table

Wow your guests with a sophisticated setting of small, potted floral plants. This collection of African Violets add a colorful, earthy touch to a casual table setting.

Table Setting Tip: Use the souvenir cups and shot glasses you get from drinking parties as delicate receptacles for tiny plants such as Tilantsa sprouts. This will add height to your setting.

The Area: Outdoor Shower

If you have a pool in your backyard – or a bath area outdoors, create a green curtain of plants that will serve as both shower enclosure and garden accent.

Landscaping Tip: Check out local suppliers of vertical gardens or wall gardens. A vertical garden is usually made of metal partitions with integrated receptacles for the plants. Consider using Purple Knight Plants, Boston Ferns, and other tropical plants.

The Area: Bedroom

The serene and classic beauty of orchids add a sophisticated feel to any interior. Ground your orchid pot with a nostalgic doily that will also protect your night table from soil and scratches.

Plant tip: Orchids are extremely delicate plants so be careful not to expose them to too much sunlight and make sure you water them and keep the temperature right.

The Area: Your Lanai

Welcome guests with a lush foliage. Play with proportion and height by mixing and matching plants such as Boston Ferns, Bromeliads, Peace Lilies, and Chinese Fan Palms.

Tip: Display your gardening paraphernalia like garden boots and tools to give the spot a rustic look.
